| Mr. U.K. Sinha is the Chairman and Managing Director of UTI AMC. Prior to this, he held the post of Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, looking after Capital Markets, External Commercial Borrowings, Pension Reforms and Foreign Exchange Management functions. He has deep experience in Indian Capital Markets and was responsible for several measures such as initiating demutualization and corporatisation of stock exchanges and modifications in different regulations related to IPOs, take-overs, Mutual Funds, etc. He has been the member of committees like those on Corporate Bonds, Foreign Institutional Investors, investor protection and primary markets committee of SEBI. He has also served on the Board of Directors of SIDBI, IFCI, Bank of Baroda, Central Bank of India, and the Pension Funds Regulatory & Development Authority and was the Managing Director of the State Credit and Investment Corporation, Patna. |
